Summary:
The Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the Security Officers enforce the policy and procedures established for the Security Department as well as for the property.
Job Description:
High school diploma or equivalentMust have a valid driver's licenseAbility to communicate effectivelyMust be able to work with guests to resolve complaints in a positive mannerAbility to handle stressful situations in a calm mannerMust be willing to work a variety of shiftsPrevious law enforcement or security experience preferred
Essential Functions:
Create procedures to manage security activities, schedule rounds etcCreate / manage work schedule for Security OfficersParticipate in the hiring and review process for Security OfficersProvide security to all guests and employeesRespond in a timely manner when dispatchedCreate accurate written reports on security incidentsCheck identification of persons entering the buildingCheck handbags, boxes and containers of employees leaving the buildingMaintain daily log sheetResponsible for care of equipment and cleanliness of areaReport all unsafe conditionsRemain alert, courteous and helpful to guestsBe knowledgeable to the location of the first aid kits, fire extinguisherAssist employees, guests and vendors as necessaryPerform any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or managerSalary:
